Ezequiel Gherscovici

Ezequiel D. Gherscovici is the Co-CEO of ERE, a brokerage and investment real estate firm in Los Angeles, California, USA. Under this role he is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, managing and overseeing overall operations, making corporate decisions, and creating a purpose-driven company with a strong sense of responsibility in sustainable Real Estate management and investment. He is also the Co-Founder of two startup organizations, Healthy Buildings LLC and Spine Principles LLC, focusing on advancing the understanding of the impact of indoor environmental quality on occupants of commercial, residential, and public buildings, as well as within the hospitality industry. The objective of these startups is to develop, test, and implement innovative solutions to improve the built environment and occupants’ health, wellness, and quality of life.
Ezequiel earned a BS degree and MSc degree in physiotherapy from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Diplomate in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Dip. MDT). Additionally, he obtained executive education certifications from Harvard University, MIT, and Cornell University focusing on technology and innovation, real estate and finance, management and leadership, sustainability and hospitality.
For over 20 years, he practiced as a physical therapist (PT) in both public and private sectors in Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. In 2019, he stopped practicing as a physical therapist to focus his efforts on advancing the understanding of the impact of indoor environmental quality on occupants of commercial, residential, and public buildings, as well as within the hospitality industry. As an advocate for improving the management of musculoskeletal conditions around the world, Ezequiel co-founded the Public Health committee for the McKenzie Institute International. He also developed the first public health workshop for all faculty members of the McKenzie Institute International. He - along with the McKenzie Institute International - organized the first MDT Part A course of the International Post Graduate Education Program for Spanish speaking health care professionals. As a result, Spanish-speaking colleagues from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, Costa Rica, and Venezuela have been trained in MDT. He also co-founded the McKenzie Institute International - Argentina Branch and contributed to the introduction of the inaugural MDT Part A course in Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Spain.
Ezequiel currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the McKenzie Institute International, and as a member of the Section on Interdisciplinary Spine for the North American Spine Society (NASS). He previously served as President of the McKenzie Institute Argentina, Center for Postgraduate Study in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Exercise Committee member of NASS, and as a Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board member of World Spine Care, a multinational non-for-profit charitable organization serving underserved communities around the world. Ezequiel has presented internationally on the topics of diagnosis, treatment, and outcome assessment for musculoskeletal conditions and has published on these topics.
